Moroccan black soap for deep exfoliation
Black soap, widely known for its geographical origin as Moroccan black soap or, more generally, African black soap, is famous for its unique and unmistakable qualities, traditionally used to perfection in Moroccan hammams.
Moroccan black soap is a special type of cleanser mainly used to deeply exfoliate the skin. It also has antibacterial properties for the epidermis. In fact, it easily removes dead skin cells and residue, as well as the many impurities that settle on the skin every day.
Its powerful exfoliating properties help the skin of the face and body regain its natural radiance and softness, especially when followed by a massage with a kessa glove as the final step.
What ingredients make up black soap?
The main functional substance within the Savon Noir , it's the Olive oil. In fact, it is created from a particular processing of oil, so its original color recalls the dark green color,
typical of this fruit. The consistency typical of soap is semi-solid , its scent is very characteristic.
We of Arganiae have created combinations , always from the classic formulation with Olive Oil, to combine other natural functional substances useful for skin care, such as:
Argan Oil (extremely nutritious and protective)
Essential Oil of Rose (refreshing and depreciating)
Essential Oil of Eucalyptus (which releases a feeling of freshness and a pleasant scent).
The ideal treatment to better use black soap, is exactly what has been done for millennia inside the Hammam:
After wet the skin with warm water, massage a dose of black soap on the affected area and leave for about 3-4 minutes.
Then switch to water the product removing any residue with warm water.
Finish the scrub using the exfoliating glove
Black Moroccan soap can be used both on body , particularly suitable for dry areas, such as joints, both on the face, taking care to perform a softer and less incisive massage.
Arganiae's proposal: our Savon Noir - natural and organic black Moroccan soap
Thanks to our ten years of experience in Morocco, particularly due to the production of our Organic Argan Oil, we had the opportunity to learn the wise art enclosed in the Hammam, so as to obtain a pure black soap, natural and organic, just like the Moroccan tradition demands.
The mixture with other natural substances is the result of an experimentation to obtain even more benefits from this unique and inimitable product.
