Rassoul, also known as Ghassoul, is a natural mineral clay found exclusively in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Its name comes from Arabic and means “the stone that washes.” Renowned for its purifying, detoxifying, astringent, and cleansing properties, it has been used for centuries by Berber populations in traditional Hammam rituals for both skin and hair care.

Rassoul works through a physical process that respects the skin’s natural hydrolipidic barrier without irritating the sebaceous glands. When mixed with water or oil, its fine particles swell into a dense paste capable of absorbing impurities and excess sebum, which are then removed during rinsing.

It is particularly suitable for combination, oily, and impure skin, as well as for conditions such as seborrheic dermatitis, acne, boils, folliculitis (including post-depilation), and other exudative skin or scalp conditions.

How to use?

In a non-metal bowl, mix 3 level tablespoons of clay with 5 tablespoons of water until smooth and lump-free.
For enhanced benefits, add a tablespoon of Argan Oil or another essential oil suited to your needs, mixing thoroughly until emulsified.

For oily or seborrheic scalp:
Apply the mixture to damp, towel-dried hair, focusing on the scalp. Leave on for 10 minutes, rinse thoroughly, then proceed with your usual shampoo.

For face or body mask (detox/purifying):
Apply the mixture evenly to the face or body. Leave on for 10 minutes, rinse thoroughly, and follow with a nourishing oil or moisturizer.
